There is something so simple and elegant about French fashion. Parisienne women seem to embody the concept of minimal beauty. They use the least amount of makeup/accessories/etc. and achieve maximum impact. That was my goal with today's look!
I had completely forgotten about this old dress! I found it tucked behind my poncho collection (yeah, I have enough for a whole collection) and was so happy to see it! This is quite an old dress from BHS, and I've always loved the way it hugs my curves, then flares out for a gorgeous silhouette. I didn't really want to accessorise with this look, aside from my watch and these shoes I recently picked up from New Look.
I just love the simple, clean lines with this look. I polished off the look with MAC's Russian Red for a red lip that's not too bold, and not too dark. Also, I am LOVING the new branded New Look bags! I don't know if they're going a new direction with their image, but they've swapped plastic bags for paper, and they look much more elegant.
