WISHLIST: SLEEVELESS TOPS

23 Aug 2015

How WEIRD has the weather been recently? In Edinburgh, one day it's beautifully sunny, the next it's gloomy and grey, then it's raining ALL DAY. It's that time of year where you have to dress for 2-3 different seasons every day. As we transition from summer to autumn, I have my eye on some sleeveless tops that can easily carry your style from season to season! Each of the tops I've chosen could be layered with a cardigan, a light jacket, or a blazer depending on the occasion. I personally prefer a jacket or a blazer, simply because the tops I've chosen are loose and flowy in nature. I prefer to mix those with a tight skinny jean or legging (maybe even a pencil skirt with the top tucked in!) on the bottom, and a structured jacket.

1. I don't usually go for colourful patterns, but when I do...it's because I know I have a lot of nail varnishes and lipsticks in my collection that could coordinate SO well! That's definitely the case with this Lovedrobe top. (Click here for my recent Lovedrobe review!) I also really like the dipped hem on this top. It feels fun & flirty, which I'm all about!

2. How PRETTY is this aubergine top from Forever 21? I think the colour is gorgeous, and it's a colour I'd like to have more of in my wardrobe! The mesh panels on the shoulders & back give this otherwise plain top a bit of added interest. I just can't get over this colour!

3. I'm really feeling peach/blush/salmon vibes lately, so this Evans top is my jam. As a veeery busty girl, I prefer a v neck most of the time. It gives me room to breathe, and just feels a lot less stuffy. I'd definitely layer a few wee gold necklaces with this top!

Shop the look:

1. Lovedrobe

2. Forever 21+

3. Evans
