Wishlist: Simply Be A|W 15

27 Nov 2015

UK based plus size fashion blogger AmandaApparel shares her favourite garments from Simply Be in this autumn|winter wishlist post.

You know me, I love a wee try-on sesh! I recently spent some time at my local Simply Be trying on lots of goodies including the blue jeans from my last outfit post. These are my top picks of what Simply Be has to offer!

Textured Keyhole Skater Dress

This first garment is an older one. I've wanted this grid dress for QUITE some time! But after a Twitter poll I decided to get the striped dress instead. You know I love black and white, and I'd love to have this dress in my collection.

High Neck Stretch Jacquard Skater Dress

I'm trying to make a habit out of trying on at least one garment that I wouldn't usually go for. This day, the jacquard dress was that garment. I really like the colours and the seventies vibe. The sizing was a bit small, so if I purchase this dress I'll likely have to go up a size, maybe two.

High Neck Side Split Jersey Top

This was my favourite item I tried on. I picked it up thinking it was a maxi dress. I managed to make it look like one in this photo. I get into the dressing room and BOOM! Side split top! I'd love it with a pair of jeans and some chunky boots.

Scatter Print Sheer Maxi Shirt Dress

I'm very into multiuse garments. Remember the shirt dress/duster coat from this post? Simply Be have a LOT of these fab sheer numbers. This one looks like a Pollock painting, and is probably my favourite of the bunch.

Jameela Jamil Printed Maxi Dress With Scarf

Ever since I was a little girl I've had such a thing for leopard print. My room used to have leopard bed sheets, pillows, rugs, you name it.

Lightweight Camel Duster Coat

Trust me, the website image doesn't do this coat justice. It's super cute and lightweight and I'm dying to get my little paws on it.

Aubergine Jersey Waffle Shell Top

I need more simple tops in my life, and I'm a sucker for a waffle texture. The colour of this top is just PERFECT.

Khaki Ripped Utility Trousers

Now that I look at it, these three items would make a fab outfit! I think the blue jeans have started me on a trousers kick. I'd like to experiment with these ripped utility trousers. I just picked up the exact same nail polish shade at New Look, so they'd be a fantastic addition.
