What I Wore: My Day In Denim**

28 Feb 2016

UK plus size fashion blogger AmandaApparel takes her jeans from day to night in this outfit post, "My Day In Denim," in collaboration with Simply Be

It's a simple, but effective concept. My Day In Denim aims to style one pair of jeans from a daytime look to a evening look! I was super excited to jump on board and get my booty into a pair of Sadie Relaxed Skinny Jeans! Pro tip: If you want to see me shake what my mama gave me in these jeans, be sure to check out my Instagram!

Shopping for jeans can be a total drag, whether you're plus size or not. I've had terrible experiences in fitting rooms trying to find jeans that fit just right. I've been nothing but impressed with the cut and fit of Simply Be denim. Not only am I a fan of these jeans, but I also have two pairs of their Lucy high waisted skinny jeans in different colours!

By day, I am a university student/housewife/blogger. These jeans are SO comfy! Whether I'm running errands or working in the library for hours, they feel so nice. I really like the distressed features. It makes me look less like a librarian and more like a hip, mid-twenties student, haha!

How FAB is this cape, huh?! It is absolutely perfect for chilly Edinburgh days. I paired these pieces with a grey turtleneck, and black brogues to keep my toes warm & dry. I've also worn the jeans with flats and trainers, and they both looked fab. This silver double chain necklace has quickly become one of my faves, and the handbag is great for uni. It's small (at least for me) but it's roomy enough to hold my notebook and diary that I need to take to class.

Shop the daytime look:

Turtle neck jersey top

Cape Jacket

Multi chain necklace

Sole Diva lace up brogues

Cushion Walk tote bag

And now for a little Lois Lane Superwoman action! The glasses come off, the hair comes down and BAM...

...ready for action! Let me tell you, I was FEELING MYSELF in this look! The jeans paired with the patterned jacket increase my sass levels by 250%. I'm not usually one to wear white (hello, all black everything) but I thought it would look amazing with the shades of blue, and I was totally right!

I know this isn't really a "hit the club" type of outfit, but I'm not really a "hit the club" type of girl, lol. I'd deff wear this to go out for dinner & drinks with bae, or to a pub quiz with the girls! Nobody wants to babysit a huge bag while they're out, so I paired this look with a nice clutch that matches the open toe heels perfectly!

Shop the evening look:

Closet zip back peplum top

Print bomber jacket

Layered coin necklace

Peep toe shoes

Patchwork clutch

The jeans pictured are the Sadie Relaxed Skinny Jean, in size 22.
