Brand Crush: Rosie Willett Designs

20 Aug 2016

UK plus size fashion blogger AmandaApparel shares her favourite luxury hair pieces in this brand crush post in collaboration with Rosie Willett Designs.

It's still summertime and you know what that means: wedding season! Whether you're a bride, bridesmaid, mother of the bride, or simply attending your fair share of summer weddings, beautiful accessories are a must! The hair pieces I've selected are just gorgeous and even if you're not planning on attending any weddings, they'd also create a great look for festivals, fancy dress parties, prom, and more!

The pieces I've chosen are available from Rosie Willett Designs. They specialise in tiaras, headbands, hair combs, and much more! Their pieces have been featured in Brides Magazine, Hello Magazine, and have even been used on Coronation Street and Hollyoaks. All of the pieces I've selected are obviously fantastic for weddings, so I'll discuss how I'd style them for alternative purposes!

The Carina V headpiece features beautiful lace and beaded detailing. I would stye this piece with a mauve or taupe fringe dress. It would be sleeveless and belted in true flapper style. I would focus on a smoky eye and keep the lips neutral to finish off this 1920's look. What a fab look for attending a Gatsby themed soirée! There are several variations on the Carina headband, and there are also matching belts available to complete the look.

I love the pretty and dainty flowers on the Annabel hair comb. It would be lovely for a formal dance like prom! I would style this with a red evening gown with a sweetheart neckline and silver pumps. This look would also be lovely for a particularly fancy afternoon tea! In that case, I would choose a red empire waisted tea dress and lace up flats.

The Zara I is my top pick for festival fashion. It has a sort of casual luxe vibe that I really love. This piece is particularly versatile. I would prefer to style it with a floral maxi dress and boots, but it would also look fab with denim shorts and a fringe top.
