UK plus size fashion blogger AmandaApparel wears posh layers and fab florals in this outfit post in collaboration with Wolf and Whistle.
I’m SO pleased that more and more fashion brands are branching out into the plus size market! Wolf and Whistle have recently done just that. The Wolf and Whistle curve range is now available in Simply Be stores and on the Simply Be website. Their designs feature playful patterns that are quirky and stylish. When I was asked to select my favourite item from the new curve collection to review, I knew it had to be this ruffle dress!
It’s surprisingly warm in Edinburgh this week. Like, too warm for a coat but too cold not to wear sleeves, ya know? Plus I didn’t want to cover up this gorgeous pattern, so I decided to layer underneath instead of on top!
This dress features ruffles on the chest as well as on the neckline. The length is absolutely PERFECT on me! It’s just the right length to go sans leggings and rock my over the knee boots, which as you know from this recent post (this one too!) is a look I am very into! As this dress offers little to no stretch, I sized up to a 26, and it’s a fantastic fit.
When Katrin was taking these photos, she said that this was a very Blair Waldorf outfit, and that is hands down one of the best compliments I’ve ever received on an outfit! Honestly, if I had the wardrobe I’d do a whole blog series on Blair inspired outfits adapted for plus size babes. You’d read that, wouldn’t you? Let me know in the comments below!
